EPK bio · from Charlie Weyler Country Music's artist profile
Charlie Weyler is a country and blues singer-songwriter based in Rockdale, Texas. He performs primarily as a solo artist, accompanying himself on rhythm guitar and harmonica. His material centers on original songs drawn from everyday Texas life, relationships, and the landscape of the Hill Country and surrounding areas.
Weyler released the album Endless Summer in 2018. The collection includes tracks such as “Lone Star of My Heart,” written for his wife Rhona after he arranged for the Texas state flag to be raised in her honor at the Capitol; “Children of Divorce”; “Happy Wife, Happy Life”; “Creekbank Critter Jam”; “Hill Country Nights”; “Chicken in a Cloud”; and the title track. Other songs in his catalog include “Jasmine Moon,” “Where Did He Go?,” “Too Close to Home (I’m Gone),” and “Whisperin’ Wind.” His writing often mixes straightforward storytelling with light humor and personal detail.
He maintains a steady schedule of live appearances across central Texas. Recent and upcoming dates include Bartlett Lumberyard in Bartlett, Stage 12 in College Station, the Kickapoo Club in Hilltop Lakes, Old River City Café in New Braunfels, and Fuzzy’s Taco Shop in Temple. Performances typically feature a mix of his original material and selected country covers, delivered in an informal setting that invites audiences to sing along.
Weyler continues to write, record, and play regularly in the Rockdale and surrounding regions, keeping his focus on local venues and direct connection with listeners. His approach remains grounded in the everyday experiences of Texas life, and he has built a consistent presence through steady local and regional bookings rather than large-scale touring.
