fallon franklin

Fallon Franklin is an Austin, Texas-based singer-songwriter and solo guitarist celebrated for her pure, organic voice and versatile live performances that span folk, pop, rock, Americana, blues, and country.

She began humming and singing before she spoke her first words and has been performing live since age 12. Growing up in a small Texas town with deep musical roots—her great-grandfather Major Franklin was a noted fiddle player and her grandfather Royce Franklin introduced her to Texas swing—she wrote her first song at ten and taught herself guitar to accompany her singing.

In 2007 Franklin reached national attention as a finalist on NBC’s *America’s Got Talent*, earning praise from judges Sharon Osbourne (“brilliantly organic, such a pure crystal clear voice”) and Piers Morgan. She has since released seven original studio albums, including *Red Lights* (2004), *Unconscious But Upright* (2009), and *Manic Expressive* (2018), and maintains a repertoire of more than 350 cover songs ranging from Johnny Cash, Janis Joplin, and Willie Nelson to Pink Floyd, Pearl Jam, Lady Gaga, and Bob Marley.

Franklin has opened for or shared stages with Miranda Lambert, Willie Nelson, Pat Green, Sister Hazel, Soul Asylum, and others, and is a multi-year favorite at the Dripping Springs Songwriters Festival. Known locally as “the female voice of Austin,” she continues to deliver dynamic solo sets across Texas venues, festivals, and private events, blending heartfelt originals with crowd-pleasing covers that keep audiences engaged.
